Tip #21

This week’s tip is about control . . . when you’re using Office or GroupWise or even Internet Explorer, you can control which toolbars you see.

  • Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Access): Right click on any toolbar or go to View >> Toolbars >> Check or uncheck to view or remove toolbars.
  • Groupwise: Click on View >> Toolbars >> Select from the list.
  • Explorer: Right click on the toolbar or go to View >> Toolbars >> Select from the list.

Don’t like the toolbar choices available? You can customize a toolbar to suit your needs. In Office and Explorer, click on View >> Toolbars >> Customize to add buttons for common tasks, like changing font from upper to lower case.

In Groupwise, right click on your toolbar and select Customize.
