Spring Cleaning!

Did you know there are over 3 million files on the server for staff files? With more being added every minute, hour, and day, we’re filling space quickly. In the spirit of spring cleaning, we’re asking staff members to clean up their H drives and J drive folders as the school year winds down. Files don’t need to be deleted entirely; you may move them to a flash drive, CD or DVD. Here are some items you might consider moving or deleting:

  • Student slide shows saved on the J drive . . . (If these files have copyrighted images, they should be removed from the network after the assignment.)
  • Multimedia files (music, video, images, etc.) . . . If you don’t need these files all the time, they can be stored elsewhere.
  • Files you haven’t used in some time
  • Duplicate files
