Inspiration on the Web

Here is one of the best tools I’ve seen in a long time:

Webspiration

This online version of Inspiration works very much the same, but with added benefits via Web 2.0! Once you set up your account–very basic and easy–you can begin to create maps to share with others. Those features that you like(d) about Inspiration are still there:

  • Rapid Fire
  • Creating your own links between items
  • Outline or web view
  • A rich symbol palette

But the best part is that you may invite others to collaborate with you via email. Webspiration tracks the revisions in the document and saving is automatic. If you create a number of webs, you may use tags to identify and categorize them. Great collaboration tool whether you use it with students or your colleagues. Give it a try next time you have a joint venture.
