Summer Opportunities

Summer brings plenty of opportunities for learning more about technology integration or brushing up on your technology skills. Here a few possibilities:

  • This afternoon, participants in Viterbo technology integration classes will share their projects in the DAHS LMC. Please feel free to stop by between 4 and 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome stop by.
  • The Games, Learning, & Society Conference in Madison includes a free day for educators on Saturday, June 13 at the Memorial Union. To register, click here.
  • June 17: Web page training for staff interested in building their own web pages or those in need of a little review. Contact Kim Bannigan or Debbie Brewster if you are interested in attending.

Graduate credit opportunities this summer include two local courses:

  • June 12, 15, & 16 will be the Summer Technology Academy. This year’s academy is one credit >> choose two of the three days to build your credit. If you don’t need credit or prefer points, you are still welcome to attend any of the 6 sessions. Click here for more information on the sessions.
  • July 31 through September 11 will be Online Collaboration and Classrooms (Moodle) for two credits. This course requires one face-to-face session on July 31; the rest is online.
