Google Forms

Google Forms are an easy way to do surveys and even assessments . . . Here are some of the things I really like about it:

  • Google creates the graphs for me automatically. All I have to do is click on Form >> Show Summary. You’ll get information to print or even post to a web page.
  • You may create a survey with colleagues by sharing your form.
  • You can make the survey available to people who don’t have a Google account. Just be sure to uncheck the two boxes at the top of your form.
  • OR, you if you are surveying students or colleagues with Google accounts, you can collect their usernames. That way you know who has taken the survey.
  • You can create great looking surveys like this one. (This survey also contains all of the question types available.)

So, if any of that sounds useful, give the FORMS (New >> Forms) link a try in GoogleApps. Don’t have a GoogleApps account? Contact Kim Bannigan.
