Copyright Friendly Sound

The Educational Communications Board and DPI just added a new service for WI residents through Badgerlink . . . Soundzabound. Soundzabound is a site that offers royalty-free music and sound effects. The ECB and DPI have paid for the subscription so we don’t have to. If you’ve ever needed music for presentations, podcasts, or videos, Soundzabound has plenty to offer. (Files are available as mp3’s.) Best of all, you don’t have to worry about copyright issues! Files are split into segments by length so you don’t need to edit–you can select from 30 seconds, 1 minute, and more.

All WI residents are welcome to use Badgerlink resources. Besides high quality databases for professional research, they also offer student-friendly tools. For example, the student research tools will list the Lexiles for articles. Or students may just search just for pictures. Looking for an old newspaper? Badgerlink also offers the Access Newspaper Archives which offers newspapers back to 1700.
