Google Fiber

Attending the Wiscnet Future Technologies Conference this week came with an unexpected perk: Google Fiber ice cream. This flavor was quickly and specially blended by Babcock Hall for Madison’s bid for the Google Fiber experiment. The nice people at Wiscnet saved us some.

They are still waiting to hear if  the ice cream did the trick. (Duluth-Superior had people jumping into ice cold lakes!)

If Madison does succeed, I think DeForest could (eventually) benefit, given its proximity.

Oh, and the conference was great too, but we’ll save some of those details for another post.
